games (like matching or go fish with
colors) or counters for math.

spooky silhouette painting! Using a very
wide brush, paint three thick, touching
lines of color: yellow, orange and red.
Then clean & wet your brush and wipe
over the lines where the colors meet to
blend them. Let it dry overnight. Then,
paint a black line at the bottom and what
ever spooky black silhouettes you'd

Thanksgiving!

Google
and find a turkey image you like, then let
the child glue feathers on!

Make
a thankful turkey! It's made from two paper
bowls, a toilet paper tube, cardstock for
the feathers (each with something written
on it that the child is thankful for), a
red balloon for the gizzard & a ketchup
cup. Instructions

a turkey from fall leaves!

Make
paddle turkeys from a paddle and scrapbook
paper! (Thanks

Make
a pinecone turkey! Glue a red balloon
over the top tip of the pinecone for
the giblet. Next, glue on a foot
shaped base. Next, glue on a mouth
(two pumpkin seeds glued together at
an angle). Last, add eyes and

Bubble Wrap Indian Corn! Glue bubble wrap around a toilet paper roll, holding it on w/ rubber bands til it dries (preferably overnight.) Paint the kernels different colors then wrap with a brown paper bag for the husk. (Thanks Crafts for all Seasons!)
Christmas!
Make
salt dough Christmas ornaments! Decorate
with glitter or by painting.

Make
cinnamon applesauce ornaments! They are
super simple to whip up and smell yummy...
they remind me of gingerbread.

Make a
button tree! (Thanks

Sweet Treats...

Make a
gingerbread house! If you don't want to
make gingerbread from scratch, just use
graham crackers.
Make Candy
Cookie Cones! Turn icecream cones upside
down, add 1 TBSP cookie dough, which fills
half of the cone. Set them upright in wads
of foil and bake about 18 minutes, til the
dough is cooked. Add chocolate chips and a
lollipop stick to the top of the cone, and
let them cool completely. Then brush on
almond bark and add candy such as coconut,
m&m's, sprinkles to make pretty trees.
