Is your bobbin thread is running amuck?

Supplies:
5/8" clear plastic tubing from the hardware store
   Gardening snippers

arrow_purplebrown TEXTBuy some plastic tubing from your local hardware store. My hubs picked mine up from Lowes and they put a big huge sticker across the length of it, which left me with a mess of YUCK to scrub off of it. So, my suggestion is to request that they wrap the sticker around the very top of the tube so it's hanging off and sticking to itself, so that way you can just not use that tiny bit that the sticker is on. Anyway, here's what it looks like after being de-stickified:

arrow_purplebrown TEXTCut it into 1/4" slices. I had some hefty scissors that did cut it, but were a little rough and didn't get a clean cut. Then my DH mentioned that at Lowes they used garden snippers to cut it, so I grabbed ours and VOILA! Perfectly snipped little cheerio-looking things.

arrow_purplebrown TEXTCut one slit into each circle, then clasp it around your bobbin thread.

arrow_purplebrown TEXTTwirl it around til the end of your bobbin thread is secure, no longer runing amuck and driving you nots! (If your thread level is rather low then this won't fit snugly, but it still does the job.) Now, wasn't that easy?
