Flat Crib Sheets
For Toddler Beds
Supplies:
60" x 44" fabric (no need to
pre-wash)
Directions if you have a
serger:
Remove selvage edges
Make blind hem at the top of the sheet
(short side of fabric), folding fabric over 3 1/2". OR
serge the edge, then fold it over a 3 1/2" and then
top-stitch it in down so it looks something like this:

Serge remaining edges,
right sides together to finish.
Directions if you don't
have a serger:
Remove selvage edges
Iron top edge of sheet
(short side of fabric) over 1/4"
Fold the top side over
3 1/2" and then top-stitch it down, so it looks like the
blind hem example above.
Finish the remaining
edges, right sides together, with a roll stitch. OR
finish the edges by folding them over 1/4", then again
1/4" so the raw edges aren't showing, then stitch them
shut.
Last, if you decided to
do this project yourself, please send me a photo of it
with your name and what state you're from! I've recently
decided to start featuring my readers' finished results.
