Paint-It-Up Dresser Facelift
It goes without saying that
a little paint goes a long way when it comes to giving new
life to something old. I just thought I'd share what you can
do with nothing but an ugly old dresser and a little bit of
paint... Take a look at this ugly mugg:
Optional: Protective Finish to add shine and protect from scuffs
Optional: Drawer liner
Give a little sanding to your old piece of furniture to help the paint adhere better.
Paint it up! You'll probably need a couple coats.
Paint a different color on the hardware so it stands out.
*Optional: Add a cute
drawer liner for a pop of cuteness inside.
Now stand back and
admire the facelift you just gave!
OPTIONAL: For a sophistocated touch, put some textured wall paper into recessed areas. Caulk around the edges to make them look smooth, then paint right over it!
Last, if you have a fabulously repainted piece of furniture, send me a photo of it with your name and what state you're from! I've recently decided to start featuring my readers' finished results.
