Super Simple Slushy Ice Pack!

booboo icepack
Supplies:
3 parts rubbing alcohol
8 parts water
Ziploc bag or Foodsaver bag

Directions:
arrow_purplebrown TEXTCombine three parts rubbing alcohol to eight parts water. Here are the sizes I use:

arrow_purplebrown TEXT If you've got a food saver vacuum sealer, put the water/alcohol mixture in a food saver bag, and seal it shut. That's your tightest, most reliable seal! ....OR...... If you don't have a vacuum sealer- no worries- just use a Ziploc "freezer bag" (they're stronger than non-freezer bags). Also, to prevent the bag from popping open, double bag it don't put too much pressure on it.

arrow_purplebrown TEXT Place a towel or piece of fabric between the bag and your skin!!! Consider making a simple cover for it, like a boo boo bear!

squiggle_purple_lil FOR TEXT2 TIP: When you remove the ice pack from the freezer, if it feels solid, just smoosh it around a bit with your fingers and it'll re-slushify and be squishy again. :)

arrow_purplebrown TEXTLast, if you decided to do this project yourself, please send me a photo of it with your name and what state you're from! I've recently decided to start featuring my readers' finished results.
