Cinnamon Applesauce Dough!
This is a
yummy-smelling dough that reminds me of gingerbread. It's
great to make Christmas ornaments out of, or just to make
little ornaments to hang in your kitchen to make it smell
yummy year-round...

1 part
cinnamon
1
part applesauce
*Optional:
a bit of nutmeg and/or cloves for extra-yummy
smell
Directions:
Combine
ingredients. I used one cup cinnamon and one cup
applesauce. If the dough is too moist, add more
cinnamon, if it's too dry, add more applesauce. Then
roll it 1/4" thick. I found it easiest to sprinkle
cinnamon on my counters and on top of the dough, the
same way I would sprinkle flour on dough before
kneading, in order to minimize sticking.

Cut it with
cookie cutters, then use a straw or skinny paintbrush
handle to make a hole for hanging. Bake in the oven for
about an hour at 200 degrees.

This recipe
is easy to make as big or small of a batch as you like.
It's great to add on with gift tags on Christmas
presents, and for the kids to make and give themselves.
Who wouldn't want a yummy-smelling gingerbread man???

Last, if you decided to
make cinnamon dough ornaments, please send me a photo of
it with your name and what state you're from! I've
recently decided to start featuring my readers' finished
results.
