Instructions:
arrow_purplebrown TEXTLine your clippy with green ribbon (instructions HERE).

arrow_purplebrown TEXTApply some hot glue to a paper towel. Quickly grasp a googly eye with tweezers, and dip the eye into the puddle of hot glue. Immediately apply it to the top part of the clippie, and press it down w/ your fingers. Apply all googly eyes.

arrow_purplebrown TEXTCut a 5" piece and a 6" piece of ribbon for each dragonfly, in whatever color you want the wings. I used 3/8" ribbon, but skinnier ribbon would be cute too.

dragonflybow1

arrow_purplebrown TEXTHot glue the 5" ribbon onto the clippie, as shown.

dragonflybow2

arrow_purplebrown TEXTHot glue the 6" ribbon onto the clippie, directly over the diamond-shaped overlap of the previous "wing" piece. Your dragon fly should look like this...

dragonflybow3

arrow_purplebrown TEXTBend the bottom ribbon up, tucking it in on itself, and hot glue its' center to the diamond. Then, bend the top ribbon down, tucking it in on itself, and hot glue its' center directly over the last piece.

arrow_purplebrown TEXTHorray! You have a happy little dragonfly! (I still need to find something good to use for antennas, which can be glued on under the back side of the head.)

squiggle_purple_lil FOR TEXT2Variations: This would be a cute little bug to stick on a covered headband as well.

arrow_purplebrown TEXTLast, if you decided to do this project yourself, please send me a photo with your name and what state you're from! I've recently decided to start featuring my readers' finished results.
