Instructions:
Take your bow ribbon
and fold it into a circle, overlapping about 1/2". You
can either hold it like this, or sew the overlap in
place. I think it's easiest to sew it in place.
Fold the ribbon in
half, with the seam side out. (It will be on the
back.)
Next, fold one of the
halves in half, covering the seam. Repeat.

Now just sew the
pinched middle in place with a few stay stitches.

Last, cover the middle
up. You can use the same ribbon for a thick cover, or a
different ribbon for contrast, or you can tie a knot,
then wrap that around the ribbon with the knot facing
out in the center of the ribbon. In my illustration, I
used a coordinating ribbon and hot glued it in place
around the center of the bow. Now your bow is assembled!

Just hot glue the bow
onto a covered clippie
or a covered
headband.

Yay! Your bow is
complete.
Variations: This basic
bow is the starting point for many fancier bows. You can
double them up in various ways, then put a little knot
around to join them. You can also place them on a
headband.
Last, if you decided to
do this project yourself, please send me a photo with
your name and what state you're from! I've recently
decided to start featuring my readers' finished results.
